Turn on two-factor authentication

Add a code from an authenticator app to every sign-in.

  1. Open Settings, then Security.
  2. Select Enable two-factor authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, or enter the setup key by hand.
  4. Enter the six-digit code the app shows to finish.
  5. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe. Each one signs you in once if you lose your phone.
